-I can correct grammatical errors in a sentence.
-I can understand the order of steps taken and why.
-I can write a response to a prompt.
-I can introduce a topic.
Social Studies:
-I can summarize the events of September 11, 2001
-I can summarize the development of the Plymouth Colony.
-I can summarize the development of the Plymouth Colony and the first Thanksgiving.
-I can identify the three reasons Europeans wanted to settle in the New World.
Homework:
-Reading/Social Studies- nonfiction/fiction reading comprehension
-Math: math practice sheet
-Spelling and Flocabulary test on September 13
-Flocabulary words and definitions are in student flocabulary journals. Journals may be brought home nightly, but must be returned to school the next day.
